- Buying beef from cattle raised in the U.S. eliminates the negative environmental impact that results from importing beef from other countries. 75%-80% grass-fed beef sold in the U.S. is from cattle raised abroad in Australia, New Zealand, and South America. That beef has to be shipped state-side via ocean liners, planes, trains, trucks, etc. All negatively impacting our environment.
- We prioritize the health of our soil. Our cover crops are strategically chosen to naturally fixate nitrogen into the soil.
- Our land is pesticide-free.
- We focus on water conservation with no-till and regenerative farming practices.
- We use rotational grazing methods, which contributes to the health of the soil. Our cattle fertilize our land naturally. This is regenerative ranching at its finest.
- We match the size of our cattle to the needs of our land. Our cattle are small enough that they don’t tear up the short grasses that grow on our land.
- We use neem oil & garlic salt for natural parasite & fly control for our cattle.
- Instead of plastic-based materials, we use biodegradable corn-based insulation in our shipments.
- We use every part of our animals. Nothing goes to waste. Fat for tallow products. Bones for bone broth and dog bones. Liver, heart, kidneys, tongue and oxtail are all harvested and put to good use.
